From parties to romantic night, just one simple touch, and it recognizes who all are around, syncs their music taste thereby creating the perfect playlist for the mood.
About the Idea
Imagine the convenience of inviting your friends over for a party and your speaker magically knowing exactly what music they like as soon as they enter the room. Making the best playlist to suit the needs of all is a tedious job, but not anymore.
Francesco and his team have created this great product that makes all our lives easy. A clever device which knows who is in our house and the music preference as per the mood and taste of an individual.
To get grooving with Fusio all you need to do is to pop it, connect it to your Wi-Fi and configure the music streaming account via the app (IOS or Android) choosing the music that you and your friends love.
Simply press play and let Fusio do all the work.
Fusio relies on touch commands and gestures manual tune toggling, in case you want to. Individual preference starts when your guests come within the range of the speaker, and starts playing the music they are into.

The Bottom Line
Music is no doubt an important part of our everyday life. Have you ever wondered why music is so important? Music has an intense effect on our psyche. We have all experienced this profound effect that music can have on our state of mind. Music can pump us up and calm us down. It can make us happy or even sad depending on what the song is about and the context in which it is being played. It’s no wonder so many people listen to music when they are exercising.
The right song pumps us up and makes us want to push ourselves harder. This is obviously very helpful. Now not only can music pump us up but it can calm us down as well. Whether or not the music that we are listening to is going to hype us up or relax us depends heavily on what genre of music it is, the speed or beats per minute of the song, and how loud the volume is turned up. This all probably comes as no surprise to us as the majority of us have experienced how a loud rock and roll song can hype us up while we are running or how a soft classical song can put us to sleep. The point is that music has a deep effect on our minds and this can be a very useful tool.
The CTO Francesco Capozzi says, ‘my biggest challenge is FUSIO, a device for the smart home, where technology and design are fused together with the aim to guarantee a new way to experience music listening with friends’. During last years I have been working on bringing some technologies from cellular networks to music. I’m thrilled by concepts behind the IoT, especially when it comes to its application to improve people’s quality of life.
FUSIO is a mix of innovative technology and fascinating look. Both its inside and outside design are envisaged to providing the best possible experience and to being used and enjoyed by everyone. Thanks to its exchangeable frontal cover, it can be easily personalized and adapted to any style. A bit of bad news, Fusio is still far from hitting the shops, however you can sign-up now and receive a special discount.
